=]

ahhhhhhhh still no replies??
please ~ anyone accepted to ERC or know anything about it~
share some info PLEASE~

I got into ERC also
Based on the threads I've read they say
ERC has the best dorms, the place is new
It's far from the rest of the campus
GE's are not too popular, and advisers suck

I was also accepted to ERC... I think the GEs suck mostly for engineering people. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Luckily, I am not a science/math/pre-med person so I think ERC will be great in my situation!

i am not engineering ppl either. mine is economics=]
heyyyyy btw guys on the admission website does it said which major you are admitted? cuz mine only said that i am admitted to ERC but it did not mention my major.....

yup mine says admitted to ERC majoring in Electrical Engineering.

really? i checked the letter i received and it said"u havent declared your major on the application" but i DID............o well i will call them to see what happened...
thanks for telling !!=]

we should be proud for ERC!!

Email them and tell them your situation
Send it to: admissionstatus@ucsd.edu

If you call them they will probably give you this email.

If its a non-impacted major your going to list they will change really quick(changing my major took only a day), but if its an impacted major thats a whole new story.

hope this helps

what is impacted major and what is non-impacted major? how about economics ???

i emailed them already and ask them to change it to Econ major.
thank you eric_123456 !
that helps a lot!!!!!!!

no problem hwama22

Impacted majors are the majors that are the most popular
Im not too sure about econ, but in the Engineering side I know a few
For example I believe Bioengineering, Computer Engineering(CSE ro ECE), and Biotechnology; these are all impacted majors that are tougher to get into and also need additional screening from Jacobs School of Engineering.

got it=]
i've heard these word "impacted" very often but never knew what it really means!
thanks for the help~
