<p>when universities (ivies) calculate your GPA, do they count all electives?
i don't they don't include pe, but electives like art or drama, do they include those??

<p>They are not all the same but in general they will look at your five main academic subjects separately. Some may also look at grades earned in 'academic' electives- such as creative writing, maybe IT. Most will not penalize you if you got a C in art or PE.</p>
<p>They will all review them, of course, but the relative weight they give to electives probably varies. I doubt any school will completely exclude them as factors, even if they don't use them to calculate GPA.</p>
