electives at MIT

Oh it made sense and it was very helpful for me - trying to figure out what to expect In terms of what classes I’ll be taking when. The reason I thanked you for typing it was because I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have the patience to do it - I’d let the pre-frosh be confused. :)

I hope to see you at CPW, anyhow. And the other CCers - both current students and fellow admits :]

One thing you all should realize about taking Harvard classes (in the fall, anyway) - their finals are after winter break, so you’d have to study all winter break and take the final during IAP! If you want to take Harvard classes, I recommend doing so in the spring. ;)

Ben Jones wanted me to take a year or two between undergrad and grad school to work as an admissions officer, but I really wanted to start my PhD. I love helping out on CC, and I loved being a blogger, but I really love science – this is my hobby, but science is my calling.

EDIT: Jessie, Harvard actually changed the schedule for the undergrad campus starting this year, so the start and end dates line up a lot better now. They now also have finals before Christmas and take January off, starting spring semester in early February. (You have never heard so much grousing over what is such a sensible change in schedule.)
