<p>My son is a HS junior looking to play the electric bass in a jazz studies program in a School of Music at a (preferably Northeast) college or university. Ithaca has a small program, Miami and Berklee have good programs but we're looking for more options. Does anyone have some suggestions? It seems like most schools do not consider auditions on electric bass!</p>

<p>I can confirm that The Hartt School's Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz does accept auditions on Electric Jazz Bass. Nat Reeves is the studio teacher.</p>
