Electrical Engineering - Chances for 2012

I'm hoping to apply to UT with Electrical Engineering as my major. I'm aiming to have my application done and sent in by early September. What is my chance of getting accepted?

GPA: 101.197
Rank: 9 of 67 (I go to a small, competitive private school in Texas)
SAT: 2090 (800 Reading, 650 Math, 640 Writing)

AP Classes
World History (5), Biology (4), English (did not take the AP exam)
Senior AP Classes: Calculus AB, Physics

Dual Credit
US History 1301 & 1302 (100 both semesters)
Senior Dual Credit Classes: Government (3 hrs), Economics (3 hrs), English (6 hrs)

School EC's
National Honor Society (2 yrs)
French Club
JV Tennis (2 yrs)
Academic Team - Social Studies - 2nd District, 3rd State
Work Study Program

Other EC's
Relay for Life (12 hrs)
Vacation Bible School (4 yrs, 80 hrs total)
Volunteer at local aquarium (2 yrs, 60 hrs total)
Young Democrats

I’d say you have a very good shot. Only thing I could see hurting would be your lack of leadership positions and schedule, but if your school is small- there may not be many AP classes available. Retaking you SAT to up your math couldn’t hurt, but I believe UT looks at SAT score w/ writing now.

Good luck! Currently doing an internship in the Engineering school now and it’s great!
