Is it possible to double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science?

My guess is no, since you can't double major with 2 engineering department majors, but I was wondering if taking the B.A. CS (instead of B.S.) track made a difference.

I got placed in Electrical Engineering, but I really wanted an EECS kind of major instead (I guess the equivalent is Computer Engineering? or a double in EE and CS if it were possible). Basically I want to build off of the CS I've been self-studying in high school, while still studying engineering (I'm less interested in computer hardware though, which is why CE is meh..)

I don’t think that it is possible. I too was looking for something like that, but it seems no. You could choose to depth in either computer design or software systems and take electives towards cse classes if you like. Personally I decided on signal processing and just taking cse courses as my eng electives. Though from what I’ve seen and heard from it doesn’t matter in the job market or grad school, you could switch to either. However job wise the ee guy with some programming can do the cs guys job. I know it’s not what we expected, but make the most of it, and the depths are as close as I’ve seen plus electives.

After more searching I came to a similar conclusion - stick with EE and do CS electives. My real concern was finding jobs in the tech industry (eg I heard Google requires a CS degree for most PM positions) but honestly CS is much easier self taught than EE, and with enough CS electives I should graduate with solid programming skills/knowledge.
