The department allows me to take 6 electives outside of my field, and I am interested in computer science. Does anyone have any recommendations for classes that would be useful? I'm already penciled in for 6 CS classes as my indepth sequence:

Basic Data Structures and Object-Oriented Design
Mathematics for Algorithm and Systems
Advanced Data Structures
Design and Analysis of Algorithms
Principles of Computer Operating Systems
Introduction to Computer Architecture

I'm thinking of 3 EE and 3 CS, since I have a pretty strong interest in CS. Thanks!

I would do data structure / advanced data structure and pick one of your choice (for me principles of computer operating systems) . Knowing data structure and c/c++ helps alot for EE getting a job. The career fair i went to at Georiga Tech, about half of them wanted ECE with strong skill in c/c++. I would highly recommend going data structure + advanced data structure.

Don't take computer architecture, waste of time if your an EE major. I would advise you to take algorithms and basic data structures. Also, you might find operating systems very interesting.
