I visited UCLA a couple days ago and it was pretty nice. It was a bit sunnier than I expected, but that just contributed to a more relaxed attitude/vibe that I felt. However, most of what I enjoyed was beautiful north campus. I found out from the tour guide that most math and science majors will probably hang around south campus for all of their classes. Is this true? South campus looked really dull and boring in comparison to north campus! How much time do people who are math/science majors spend around north campus?

oh south campus

your GE's will allow you to have classes in north campus, or maybe you can double major or pick up a minor that is north campus related.

You'll be spending 65-85% of your time in South Campus.

You won't live in South Campus, so don't worry about staying on there. Boelter Hall generally will be a "home" or "dungeon" for the upperclass engineers.

Again, you aren't having class outdoors, so location will not matter. You will get used to the 'nerdiness' vibe on South Campus.
