Hey guys,
I have been really looking into this field too. I am from the University of Michigan. These 2 program are among the best in michigan. I was wondering if u guys knew anybody who was doing the same or know how it will improve a person's marketability. What kinds of jobs a graduate can look for later involving the 2 majors and such. Any input will greatly be appreciated. Thanks

u know, this board is primarily for students who are applying to colleges or grad/law/med. You have been in UMich you would probably know more about these things than most people. There is advising, from personal experience, you should maybe talk to one of your professors. Academic Advisers are often useless, at least at umich, when it comes to career possibilities. On the other hand, your professors(the ones in EE or ME) will know a lot.

I would say that a double major like this would be a waste of time. You would do better to get a bachelors in one and a masters in the other.

This would also be insanely hard.

Spend your time getting a masters degree or experience. There are jobs for this but not nearly as many as either ee or me.
