Electrical Engineering: UCLA vs UCSD

I have been accepted into both UCs for Electrical. However, I do not know which one to go to. I was planning to live on campus on both schools, and I was wondering how student life is, what I can expect as far as classes (sizes, difficulty), etc.

Thanks

UCLA is probably a bit better for student life than UCSD. I've heard UCSD is much more of a commuter school than LA.

Mr. Payne:

What do you mean by commuter school?

Gontello:

From what I hear, UCSD is supposed to be stronger in sciences overall than UCLA, but I would much much much rather go to UCLA than freaking UCSD. UCSD would be wayyy too boring IMO. UCLA has bomb athletics, great location, very good academics, and the list goes on. Also, if your options change, UCLA is a better bet than UCSD. Go with UCLA, but visit both and see what you like best.

Check the rankings. UCLA is slightly higher than UCSD in sciences.

im in UCLA EE...it's a well known program...never heard of UCSD EE program...I think they are stronger in the bio area

If you're planning to live on campus, UCLA offers three/four years of on-campus housing to all freshmen. I don't know how much housing UCSD offers, since not many people live on campus there.

Definitely UCLA.
