If your son is interested…there is a shortage of people specializing in power, and especially BIG power. My DH is an electrical engineer with a specialization in power. He designed, and was part of the team working on some huge projects that needed electrical systems. This isn’t a bad thing at all for a concentration!
I think your son needs to consider how much snow he wants to see! Buffalo typically gets a lot of snow. But then, he has a lot of northeast schools on his list where there is lots of snow.
