Can someone list the specific specializations that EE has like power, wireless communications, signal processing, etc. and provide a description of each? Also, which area has the most job growth and job openings? Which area will give the highest starting salaries? I am wanting to know this because I want to be making six figures within 4-5 years of graduating. Would management be the best way to do this? If I do management, will companies offer to pay for an MBA or can you get into management with experience and expertise alone? Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

Power is the most stable field but the job openings are limited. And you can't expect too much innovations.

Currently, analog circuit design is probably the best for job hunting.

wireless communication is probably the worst I can think of.

Anyone care to share their advice? Thanks

Why do you say that? I've heard that jobs in wireless communication and antennas has been increasing in the past years. Everyone seems to want to go wireless these days, and I don't think that will change any time soon.
