<p>I know this is kinda early, but what "electronics"--e.g. laptops, cameras, etc do I or should I bring to Rice? My parents said they would help me choose a laptop, but what else should I bring?</p>

<p>Bring a camera if you want. Coordinate with your roommate on a fridge. Microwaves aren't technically allowed, but they're a good thing to have and everyone does anyway, but again that's something to coordinate with your roommate. You can get away without a printer (in fact, I prefer not having one). It's really your call.</p>
<p>I don't know how anyone could live without a laptop, but aside from that, it depends on your preferences. I have a decent digital camera, but it hasn't been out of my desk drawer this semester more than once. I have a small stereo, but again, your preference (freshman year when I had a roommate and we didn't agree that much on music, a nice pair of headphones was much better than any stereo). Fridges are nice, but I'd wait until June/July when you find out who your roommate is and coordinate between the two of you.</p>
