Elementary Education Program

I have been accepted into the Elementary Education program at NC State and Clemson. Both programs seem very similar in that they each take 60 students per year and you stay with the 60 all four years. I am super excited about both schools!!! I am OOS for both. Do you all have any advice on which school to pick? Thanks!

I went to Clemson and my daughter(s) are going to State. Academics are close enough not to matter. The schools are quite different though. One is rural and the other is in the middle of the city. Visit both and decide which one suits you. The good news is that you have a choice between good and good.

Thank you nealinnc. I have been to both. Loved the over the top school spirit at Clemson and loved the town of Raleigh. If I could put Clemson in NC State’s location, I would be all set!! Does NC State have the same school spirit? Thanks!

NC Sate has AMAZING school spirit! Especially at their football games. We have been going to the games for 5 years as my brother in law has season tickets (and he never even went to NC State)! He just loves going to the games because of the spirit they have. Good Luck in choosing and congrats…they are both great schools!

Everyone I know who went to Clemson loved it.

Now that I said that…my oldest son and my husband are both NCSU grads and really loved it. Tons of love for the Wolfpack. S graduated almost 5 years ago and still goes back to Raleigh every chance he gets. He liked being in a city. When he visited friends at UNC Chapel Hill, he thought the small town atmosphere got old fast. He was always glad to get back to Raleigh.
