Elementary Statistics I vs. Foundations for Quantitative Reasoning

Hi everyone!

I’m a rising senior in high school, but I am a full-time post secondary student, meaning I take all college level courses. I’m trying to create my schedule for fall semester, and I’m having a difficult time choosing between Elementary Stats I and Foundations for Quantitative Reasoning (I am eligible for these and have already taken the Algebra, Trig, Calc classes, etc., so these are the only two that are left, other than applied classes).

I plan on majoring in comp. science and sports management, so would it be the better idea to take Elem. Stats, seeing as I took Intro to Stats last year? (I’m super confused on what exactly “Elementary” means) Or stick with the Foundations course (which I heard is a basic class, which does not sound ideal, seeing as I’m applying to competitive colleges that want to see you challenge yourself). I’m just not sure which course is more predictable of a comp. science and sports management major. (Mind you these are college level courses, so they can be more challenging than high school classes).

Thanks to anyone who can provide some advice!!
