Hey guys.
Does anyone here have anything for 'Application Status'? It is right above the section 'Required from You'. I am just wondering because I only realized this little bit today and I am curious as to what it means. Does it mean that they have received all the necessary components of my entire application? I'm not so sure because they said they will give us the recommendation notifications starting on the 17th.

Well, I didn’t notice that before either, but I just checked, and there’s a singular green check underneath Application Status, which I guess is a good thing.

And, on mine, it says recommendation notifications start on the 15th.

grrr i want my account already! i like checking app status thousands of times a day while knowing that they wouldnt make any decision till december

when did you guys submit your apps btw?

I hope we don’t actually have to get our Eli accounts three weeks after submit our app like Yale says.

That’s just a maximum time. I submitted Oct 28 and got it today, Nov 4.

It took me from Oct. 23 to Nov. 4. It seems that they’re in the process of getting them out to the applicants now.

Yeah same, I submitted on the 26th and got it today, Nov. 4. I guess they’re sending them out in waves, but it definitely won’t take 3 weeks, even for the Nov. 1. submits.

^
I submitted Oct. 31st, and I still haven’t received my Eli Account info. Hopefully I’ll get it with the next wave!
fingers crossed

Of course, I’ve always had the fear of inputting my email address wrong in forms. So maybe I’ll never get it, just like I’ll never get an interviewer… and maybe they’ll think I ignored the interviewer if his emails go ignored! But I’ve gone back and checked, and it’s right. But maybe, just maybe… inkling of doubt lives

Hahaha Owlehn I feel the same way!! But I got the common app emails, so that’s condoled me slightly.
I would really like to keep hitting the check status button too though…and rid myself of the fears that I didn’t get something in or something dreadful like that.

I also submitted mine the 28th, but still haven’t got it… :(

Submitted mine on the 28th, and I already got it this morning.

I submitted mine on the 31st. I want it already! I would totally log into it at least 3 times a day :)

Just got mine this am. Submitted 10/31. Seems more real now.

Submitted on the 31st, got my Eli account today.

Submitted on 10/30, got my Eli account today. Even though its just the Eli account, I’m so happy to receive confirmation about my application.

Submitted day 11/31 got acct today as well

I just clicked on the link they provide for us (to activate the accounts), and the webpage wouldn’t open. Is anyone else having the same problem?

^ If it’s still the same link they sent to me a few weeks back, I don’t think they updated it, what with their updating of their website. It probably sends you to the Yale admissions homepage, yeah? Just click on the Freshmen Application Process (under Application Process at the top), then Application Status at the side bar, then click on the Application Status link on that page.

Here’s the link:
