<p>Hi, I’ m a CA resident and my UC score total adds up to 413 (we need 410 to be eligible). What exactly does “Eligibility by Examinations Alone” do?</p>
<p>Eligibility by Examination is for students who do not meet the GPA minimums (3.0 in-state, 3.4 OOS) or do not have all the A-G courses. They still can be considered for UC admission based on their tests scores, but there are no admission guarantees like there are with ELC or statewide eligibility. Homeschooled students sometimes use this path to admission as well.
