<p>I am in the top 4% of my high school, so I apply for ELC in California. I am going to apply to UC Davis, and their info says: "All applicant identified as ELC are admitted, regardless of their CR (comprehensive review... grades, ECs, etc)"</p>

<p>Does this mean that I am basically in?</p>

<p>Well. Did you fill do the ELC thing at the end of your Junior year? Ask your counselor if your school submitted an ELC. If so, and if you’re in the top 4 percent, you’re virtually accepted to Davis. And about 90 percent in UCSD.</p>
