Eligible for AP test?

This year would have been my senior year of hs, but I took the CHSPE after my sophomore year so I'm in CCC now (hoping to transfer to UC 2011).

I want to take the AP music theory test. I'm a level 9 pianist, getting back into serious training, and this test would help my application a lot as well as help me personally hone my music skills.

Part of the thing with the CHSPE is that even though it's equivelent to a hs diploma, it doesn't kick you out of school. So when I took it at 16, I still had the opportunity to go back to hs if I wanted. So instead of enrolling in my 4th CCC semester this Jan, I could go back to hs if I wanted.

Does anybody have any experience with this? Any sort of information at all?

u dont have to go back to HS, anybody is allowed to take an AP test, there was a 7th grader in my AP calc exam. u can be 50 years old and have a Ph. D. and take an AP exam. so dont wrry, u can go to ur CC and take the exam if u want, just make sure to sign up in time.
