Yeah, because I was wondering whether the only qualifications are sophomore/junior grades, or if the senior year grades will be added to the GPA requirement before you get into UCLA to weed out more people.

you can either apply as an incoming freshman, or you can apply after you've established a 3.5 UCLA gpa (so, after at least one quarter in college).
i don't recall whether senior year grades affect frosh admission (i don't think they do, but the website will answer that).

also, check out the "continuing students" link.

oh wow okay. but many people here are saying that the honors program isnt worth it. so i dont know. plus, you have to fit in more classes, etc.

also, does the UCLA honors program have much prestige? does it really help when it comes to applications, etc.

honestly, i don't think it's that many more classes. and the only 2 classes that HAVE to be added (that aren't possibly GEs) are the honors collegium courses.
and the one i took last quarter was the BEST class i have taken so far. it was a topic that interested me greatly, and only a dozen people were in the entire class. my discussion section was only four people!
i'd say, if you were invited to apply, just go for it. you can always drop out of it later, but how will you know it's worth it if you don't give it a shot? :)
