Elizabeth Bradley, Head of Drama at CMU to assume Chair of Dept. of Drama UG at Tisch

<p>Dean of NYU/Tisch, Mary Schmidt Campbell, has announced that Elizabeth Bradley, Head of Drama at Carnegie-Mellon University, will assume the Chair of the Department of Drama, Undergraduate at the Tisch School of the Arts. Professor Bradley will commence a three-year term as Chair beginning June 1, 2008. She will hold the rank of Full Arts Professor.</p>

<p>Damn, that’s big news. I assume tenure went with that? Hard to believe CMU chair would leave for a three-year appointment.</p>

<p>Hmmm…raiding in-conference rivals frown on in college sports. Doesn’t seem to apply on the academic side.</p>
