<p>amethyst, I did look up the % of students with cars at York, Juniata, Etown and Allegheny just to compare. I guess that at Etown you really do need one since 85% of students have cars. This is not true of the other schools. At Juniata it is 44%, Allegheny 32%, and York 30%. That is something that I do keep in mind and add in as part of our college costs to send our kids.</p>
<p>Overall, how did your son like the school? Would he go there if he had to do it all over again?</p>
<p>My DD had her music audition, and interview this past weekend. It was great. She is also accepted and doing the same thing at St Olaf, Heidelberg, Alma and Wittenberg. The others will have be very good to go beyond just the warmth and connecting that we felt with the music dept faculty and students who hosted us. I also am impressed with the rigor of the music dept. Maybe not as well known nationally, but no less in distinctive than the others. What the faculty did this weekend was help her to see what was required for her to achieve her professional intention and how they can enable that to happen. In talking with the students they were very down to earth and easy to relate to.</p>
