@chercheur the same happened to me! @irishgal1909 / others that received the finalist application on their portal, do you mind logging in and out and checking again to see if the same happened to you? Mine was there earlier this morning as well.
My D said her portal never changed so I don’t think she made it further, but weird for those that made it and then it changed. I’m sure it will be back up for you guys though and congratulations!
Yes it is gone as well on portal and was there this morning.

Don’t count yourself out just yet. The portal notifications appeared for some, then disappeared, so we don’t know exactly what it means yet.

Yes - here in PA - my daughter had it this morning, but now it is gone. I am hoping too.
I checked at 11 but I didn’t see anything, who knows if I had it on my portal or not
Checking this thread after several hours in a meeting. So does anyone STILL have it on the portal or did they all disappear? Ugh…just send the emails already.
Nothing yet on mine. Didn’t look earlier, so don’t know if it ‘came and went’ or just never came. But at this point, because of the notices disappearing, I think I am only going to trust the official email!
This is what I found out by chatting with the ISTS (those who are managing the scholarship:
“Notifications regarding the decisions of selections are still in the process of going out. All of them will go out by the end of the day today. Just sit tight for a little bit and wait for that email. If you were selected as a winner, the email will have a direct link in it to the form you need to fill out”
Last time (Jan 18th) my email came at 4:30 PM Eastern. Anyone else?

My portal was updated and the form was removed…
I am curious if we’re all thinking the same thing:
- Everyone’s portal was updated to indicate that they were a national finalist. Bad mistake if so. There’s a bunch of folks who will be disappointed that they thought they were a finalist but are not.
or - Those who were indeed national finalists were posted too early. Not a big mistake. We’ll get over it
I am hoping it’s #2.
