<p>Did you get any confirmation from your local lodge? I didn't get anything! When do we find out state, local, w/e, results?</p>
<p>I found out from local and district about a week ahead of each deadline. I'm guessing that the time it takes to get back to you depends on your area. The more that apply, the longer it'll take. The website states that it may take until 3 weeks after each deadline to receive notification so don't lose hope! Oh, I'm assuming we're talking about the Elks MVS?</p>
<p>"Applications must advance through local, district, and state competitions to reach the national competition. If you do not receive a written response three weeks after the following deadline dates, contact the appropriate person for that level. (i.e. Lodge, District or State Scholarship Chairperson).</p>
<p>January 30 Lodge Judging Completed</p>
<p>February 13 District Judging Completed</p>
<p>March 3 State Judging Completed"</p>

<p>I heard back from local with good news in late january. District sent me some good news in early feburary with a nice 200 dollar check to boot :) Still anxiously awaiting the state results though....quite nervous!!</p>

<p>It was a small prize for the top 6 at district. I'm pretty nervous about state results though...he told me that CA was doing state grading on 2/11 , but I still haven't heard anything....</p>
<p>So everyone who is up to the current level, which is at the state level. What SATs did u guys have?</p>
<p>i had 1500 sat and 36 act & i'm at state level now</p>
<p>I had a 2140 SAT and 31 ACT and I got second at districts and am at state now</p>
<p>2230 sat, top 3 males at district.</p>
<p>Hold on, wasn't it the Elks that said they didn't count the writing section? If so... I think we have to adjust for that, on second thought.</p>

<p>Oh my gosh!!! I just got a letter from my state chairman!!! :) In addition to the state level money, they also gave me a 700 dollar check....that was awesome! Wow, I never thought I would even make it past the local lodge level...</p>
