elliott school of IA

does anyone know if it is more difficult to be accepted to the elliott school?? I definitely want to major in international relations, and since that is not offered in the college i don't have much choice... but is there any disadvantage to me?

I'm applying there as well, it seems like it would be seperated from the other applicants but I don't know if it is any harder.

they generally view each applicant with the same criteria, regardless of the school they're applying to, so just apply to the school you truly want to go to. good luck!

My best friend has a contact at GWU at Elliott who said that it isn't necessarily harder to get into but it is much harder to transfer into. He is also in the Honors College (which is what my friend is hoping for). This is hearsay but it seems that it is better to apply to it rather than transfer later if you are undecided now.

thanks guys. im definitely not undecided, my plan was always to apply to elliott, i just was curious if it was more difficult to be accepted.
