How does the Elliott School compares with other International Affairs department in the top schools?

Will enterance in the Elliott have an edge to future employment, say in diplomacy? Actually, would also like to know how do employers view Elliott gradates.

Thanks a lot!

Also...how does the Elliott School compare with the Political Science department at the Columbian College of Arts and Science?

can no one answer these questions?

I also got admitted to the Elliott school. In the acceptance letter, it talks about how Elliott was recently ranked as one of the top international affairs schools in the world. Also, the location is prime for international affairs-related internships and other opportunities.... BUT!! nothing can beat Georgetown's School of Foreign Service!

Yes, I sound like I really like this school...but actually I don't want to go. I live about 20 minutes from D.C. and my parents want me to stay close to home. But I got a scholarship to study broadcast journalism at Syracuse University...I'd rather go there and pursue my greatest interest (which is journalism), be far away and pay less.
