<p>Does anyone have information on this college? I have a friend who is a music ed. there and he raves about their program. Basically, all the friends that he has talked to and that have visited the campus are hooked on it now. So, is it really as great as it sounds? I've visited the campus, very clean and beautiful, and the surrounding towns are nice. But, how would it compare to the following schools granting some are public (Elmhurst is a private school):</p>

Illinois State
Knox

<p>I would not recommend Elmhurst College to anyone unless you are an artsy person. I have a BS from UIUC and am currently enrolled at NIU for my masters. I have several friends that attended the school. Zero of them had jobs upon graduating and they were in the business program. People like this school because it is sooooo easy, located in a nice area, and has newer buildings. Save your money and go to a real school like UIUC. You’ll have a great time, be challenged, and you can easily transfer to any other school on your list if things don’t pan out.</p>
