Elon acceptance calls?

They went out this day last year (saturday after the last audition) Has anybody heard anything?

My D just auditioned there yesterday. I believe that was the final audition date.

Should be On Track on March 15th. :)

It looks like acceptances have already begun to show up on people’s on track accounts. does anyone have any information as to wether not having an acceptance yet dictates if you were accepted?

My S has a friend who just got a call from Cathy about two hours ago notifying of acceptance into the program…so calls have started. Lots of breath holding going on!

My D got a call today from Cathy. Happy news, good luck to you all.

Congrats SingerDad

I noticed on track changed the notifications available to the 14th

If we have not gotten a call yet today should we be worried?

It seems MT acceptances are coming personally via phone by Cathy. I know of six MT acceptance calls received already over the last four hours…hoping more are still being made for the sake of all our kids waiting!!

My D got the exciting call from Cathy this afternoon too! Congrats everyone!

Congrats on all acceptances!!

Our S got the call a few hours ago!

are all of the calls already out? i know nothing is final until it’s online but i’d love to know whether i should still hope

Any idea if there is a waitlist for Elon? Hard to tell how that works from reading about last year.

Elon is updated online now

actsandsings-the way they talked at the information meeting there is. The current sophomore class is so large because everyone accepted so now they waitlist. If you were waitlisted it should say that when you look on track under the performance arts and music information.

Status is updated on “On Track” … So exited my D has been wait listed. Elon is one of her top choices.

Dreamingbig…curious how your waitlist status on on-track is written. My D’s says “Waitlist for Fall 2013, accepted Spring 2014”. Confusing. Sure hope that means my D is waitlisted for Musical Theatre but don’t want to get too excited.

whynotdreambig - There is a separate section for Performing Arts acceptances. It sounds like your child was academically waitlisted for Fall but would be allowed to start in Spring. Being waitlisted likely means they were not considered for the program due to academic reasons. (Totally stinks to not know if there would or would not have been a spot in the program for them - similar situation here).

Hmmm…I’m kind of surprised because I thought her academics were ok. ACT might be a little low. GPA 3.99 and ACT 27.

Bummer…rejected for MT but waitiisted academically. Was a fleeting glimmer of hope. Elon…you should change the way you list that…not clear at all…almost cruel:(
