Hi . My daughter was trying to find info regarding Elon BFA Musical Theater program’s audition prescreening requirements and can not find it. Do they have prescreening at all?
Welcome and check out the very active MT forum. Listed at the top are links for each schoo, then scroll down and see the general postings and questions.

Elon does have a prescreen process.
I just spent the past hour and couldn’t find any information except for when the audition dates are. Maybe they are currently updating the info and will post it soon?
I have a senior MT at Elon this year, and he says no MT prescreens this year, unless something changed over the summer. You can contact the performing arts department to be extra sure, but probably no. Book your audition dates early cause they will get full.
They are using accept for head shot resume and a short recorded video about yourself. Unless that is last year’s info. Found it on the site last night
@MTgirlmom , looks like they did away with the prescreen for this year. Last year was the first year they used the prescreen.
Can someone tell me where the requirements are on their website? Maybe I am losing it, but I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
@Abbaroo98 , It seems everything is in the getacceptd link above. If you don’t have a getacceptd account, create one. It’s free and the requirements are likely there once you log in. They’ve changed their process again for this year and the information isn’t quite as easy to find as in in past years. There is also an email address in the link above. You can always contact that person for more information.
Does anyone know how long Elon is taking to respond with an audition date once the materials are submitted?
My d submitted hers on Sept 27 and recvd confirmation of her audition date on Oct 1.
We received ours yesterday, it took 4 days as well.
anyone recall what Elon said about the acceptance notification date this year?
@crc500 At campus auditions last week, Elon said they should be releasing decisions around March 15th.
It was Sunday, March 15 last year.
