Hi, I was reading many different posts on many different forums and it got me nervous about my chances of being accepted. I applied EA and am involved in a lot of sports in my highschool, clubs, National Honors Society, National Art Honors Society, and I have a lot of volunteer work. My ACT is 31, 33 super-scored. And my GPA is around a 3.75 but I have a lot of AP classes and other rigorous classes.
Please reply
You mean class of 2022
Your ACT is above the 75th percentile listed in Elon’s class of 2020 profile (middle 50 range is 25-29). There is a 60% admissions rate. The Class of 2021 has an average ACT of 27. I would be thinking close to safety territory - curious about what I might be missing? Maybe a tendency toward Tufts Syndrome?
I’m sure you read some of my comments on other posts. I wrote a lengthy response regarding ED, EA and RD. Your states seem above average so I think you will be ok. If Elon is your first choice, tell them so!!! If you don’t get in I would imagine it would only because you didn’t demonstrate enough interest. Best of luck!
