just thought this could be a thread for Early Action applicants.

question- on december 18th, how are we going to find out about our decision? Is it going to be posted on OnTrack, do we get an e-mail, letter in the mail, etc.

also, my status on OnTrack says in processing, is that what everyone elses says?

It will be posted at midnight (12AM on the 18th) on OnTrack and you will also get an email. Within a few days of that, you receive a package via snail mail.

does it say you have all your docuements? if you do then don’t bother calling, you will find out on the 18th ( ithink)… but if you are missing stuff, then you should def. call.

it says all my stuff is received but when you click applicant status, under status it says in processing and i’m just nervous that everyone else’s says application complete

Ah I remember now. Application complete means that they have made a decision but have yet to release it while processing means that they are still reviewing it.

^^ Rex, are you sure that is correct, that application complete means they made a decision? D submitted EA back in late October and her on-line status was application complete a few weeks later. It did not seem like enough time to make a decision, either good or bad.

I applied early action, but did not realize until a few weeks later that a resume was recommended. How much do you think that will effect their decision?

When Elon finally complied all of my documents, the system said “in processing,” but not even 7 hours later, it changed to “application complete”

I’m not sure how they did that, but I don’t think they made a decision that quickly.

I would not freak out about the “in processing” thing, i never saw in processing (i checked everyday) and i was admitted at exsactly midnight.

The resume deal, I don’t think it should effect you decision greatly, because you should have filled out the mini resume on the application anyways. If you get waitlisted, you could always send the resume in, but hopefully you won’t need it!
