<p>Congrats to Taylor Trensch, a rising junior at Elon, who was just cast as Moritz in the national tour of Spring Awakening! He plans to take a year off from school and return to finish his degree after the tour. His fellow Elon students (including my own son) are thrilled for him!</p>
<p>My D is also a rising junior and a good friend of Taylor’s. She/we are sooooooooooo excited for him. I would also like to mention another talented Elon student, Mackenzie Bell, who just graduated in May. She has been cast as Francine in the Chicago company of Jersey Boys! Yay for Elon students continuing to get the Elon name out there in the MT world!</p>
<p>Congrats to Mackenzie! She could be employed forever in Jersey Boys, and Francine is SUCH a great role. She’s a lovely and very talented girl … we are so happy for her!</p>
<p>Elon seniors have lined up great summer work and tours! The national tours I know of - new Spring Awakening tour has 3 soon to be Elon graduates plus 1 last year graduate, Fiddler on the Roof tour has a graduating senior, and my son has been cast as Mike in new A Chorus Line tour! They are graduating next Sat.</p>
<p>PS - another upcoming graduate is also in the ACL tour, the cut group dancers, pit singers, and understudies!</p>
