<p>Isn’t an em-dash just “–”? If you’re copying from Word, try manually changing the weird S symbol to --.</p>
<p>It might work if you save the document as a PDF then try to upload it instead of uploading it as a Word document (assuming you’re talking about uploading and not the write-in sections)</p>
<p>Don’t try anything fancy or put in a pdf. Just fix the Em dashes with two – instead. It’s good you checked to see how it looks when it’s uploaded.</p>
