<p>William and Mary, UVA, USC (California), Georgetown, American U, UNC-Chapel Hill, UMiami, BostonU, Davidson, Oberlin. What about Cornell.. or Brown (lolssssss)</p>

<p>My two main choices are W&M and UVA. U of Miami and Georgetown are my second favorites. </p>

<p>GPA: 4.13 W, should be around 3.8 UW for sophomore + junior year (Fresh year was BAAAAAAAAD) WGPA should go up at least one/two tenth/s by the end of the year.</p>

<p>SAT: Expected is 2030ish R:700 W:700 M:600</p>

<p>Rank: 47/552 (should be around 30/25 by the end of this year)</p>

<p>Male, Central Virginia - First Generation College Student
2nd or 3rd most difficult schedule (level-wise) in class.
Will have taken 6 APs by graduation next year. Expected to score 4s and 5s (except APUSH. I suckz at history. 3 plz)</p>

Bunches of school awards.
Some leadership.
I show initiative in my education.
CC courses during summer (with As in both).
Many clubs (founded two).
Model UN.
NHS.
Academic Team.
Accepted into "prestigious" music ensembles (but I hate band).
Attending Governor's School (highly selective and super fun!) this summer.
I take a lot of classes outside of school for fun (French, Creative writing, etc).
Worked 15+ a week during my Junior year.</p>

<p>My mom's a drunk (meaning I play "parent" sometimes), and my dad has a debilitating nervous system disorder. These will probably be my essays or something. Probably focusing on my dad.</p>

<p>Depending on your awards, you might get good chances (not at the Ivies, unfortunately). If your SAT scores were higher, you'd have better chances. </p>

<p>Georgetown? That'll be a little leap too.</p>

<p>Also, since I don't know how to edit my post, I'll add this:</p>

<p>I had a project on the history of my town published in a nationally distributed magazine. About five pages long.</p>

<p>Wow! Really? That'll really help your chances. I have no idea how much, but it's totally a new light.</p>
