I received an email today about OASIS and I was wondering what are the pros/cons of being in this program?

Biggest benefit is Summer Bridge program - did they state this in the e-mail?

You should check out oasis.ucsd.edu - it's pretty self-explanatory from there.

I got the email, but it didn't give me a access code to apply for the program.

I went to the website and it seems as though the program is very helpful, but it also mentions that it takes a lot of commitment and time. I want a little more information from current students in the program before I apply, such is the program really as helpful as it sounds.

va11er0818, I also didnt receive an access code.

There's also tutoring for math/science, the other big thing about OASIS.

i didn't get the email

can some explain what it is and who it's for?

thanks

How do we apply for the summer bridge program?

You apply for it. Then wait until you are accepted. I heard 800 people got the invite last year and applied and only 150 students got in. It provides unlimited math and science tutoring as well as various prep on college writing.

can only certain people apply? what is the access code?
