<p>just a quick question, has anyone going to wake gotten an email address yet? any ideas how? i sort of want to make a facebook....</p>

<p>I called and they said you don't get them until you get your computer in August.</p>
<p>oh. is that so. i had heard that you get them in june along with your housing thing. but, i stand corrected.</p>
<p>Lol, the lady I talked to sounded pretty old, she may not have understood what I was talking about. I thought it sounded kind of late...</p>
<p>Yeah I heard from some people that you don't get them until August with computers and from some other people who say they come with your housing assignment. Who knows. I guess we'll find out sooner or later.</p>
<p>You won't officially get it till you get to campus in August...unless they've changed it from last year.</p>
<p>Last year I was able to access my email sometime around the beginning of August. I dont actually think that they told us until we got to school what it was or how to check it. If you want to try checking it before school, your email will be the first four letters of your last name, your first initial, middle initial, then 6, for incoming freshmen, @wfu.edu (all together, no commas). You can check it at <a href="http://student.wfu.edu/%5B/url%5D">http://student.wfu.edu/</a> then click on webmail. if they use the same password format, then it will be the first four letters of your last name, then the last four numbers of your social security number.</p>

<p>Yeah I checked too. I guess I'll have to come back to it in July or August. </p>
<p>That's so unfair though, lots of kids at other colleges already have their emails or are getting them in the next few weeks. I hate waiting. :(</p>
