Email From Cal-Tech...?

<p>I'm a recent Taiwanese Immigrant</p>

<p>my SAT score isnt great - 1700 currently ( i will improve however, aimign for 2000+ )
my GPA is a 4 ( 92.xxx avg )</p>

<p>i've received 3 Emails, the first 2 was to ask me to respond if i want to receive a poster about Cal-tech, but i wasn't checking my Email constantly, and now i've received this Email asking me to register for this "Caltech Sneak Peek"</p>

<p>so my question is...</p>

<p>1- is it worth it for me to pay a visit there, b/c my SAT score doesn't meet the requirement, and i don't have stellar ECs....</p>

<p>since i live in NY, i will need to take a plane there...and would it even worth it......?</p>

<p>2- do alot of people receive the Emails from Caltech compare to normal Letters and Mails?</p>

<p>Don't go. The emails are sent to as many people as we can find who might have an interest in Caltech. Your chances, as it stands, are fairly bad, so it would not be worth the money.</p>
