Not sure if I'm attending... waiting to hear from BC, BU, Tufts, Villanova, GWU

Phillyguy, hopefully the acceptances are by region, since my D hasn't heard either and we're in the Philly region. I'm sure that she's waiting by the mailbox today. Good luck.

Has any other NJ residents received e-mails yet? The only one I know if is my friend. :/ And it's for certain because we saw the e-mail at the same time in the school yesterday, lol.

If some NJ residents have received it and others [like me!] have not, I think the assumption that it might be sent out by region can be crossed off our list. :(

Has anyone from manhattan recieved it yet? (this is killing me)

no word yet - on LI

This waiting for emails / letters sucks!

Still no word for me in PA.

Collegepa, I empathize--we're in the same boat, here--we're also in the greater Philly area and D hasn't heard yet. However, for better or worse, though, I don't AU's responses have anything to do with particular regions: If you look back on post #10, Heavenwood is also in the Philly area and he received a response. My D's staying relatively cool, but I can't help but feel just a bit angsty when I see all these other posts with people getting their decisions already. It does help that she already has a few acceptances from other schools. Oh well, best of luck to your daughter and I hope both of our respective girls hear back from AU soon. And congratulations to everyone who's been accepted so far.

They have a huge number of applicants from NJ every year so... maybe that explains the hold up?

:( I hope so. Now I know two who have gotten in. :/
My close friend is in - but she's not sure if she's going.

Another close friend hasn't gotten anything - and AU is his top choice, which is the case with me. But, his best friend has gotten his acceptance via e-mail. So, the two of us are trying to really calm our nerves.

I've heard from some people that those receiving emails may be the applicants that AU really "wants". ie. those who are very well qualified and above average in the pool. Anyone have any thoughts on this or will we all get emails?

:/ Phillyguy, that's exactly what my guidance counselor said. She told me not to worry, but I am!

Maybe they sent e-mails to states left of D.C. because of the need to plan Spring Break visit trips. Too far to drive. (?)

Good luck to the Right Coast hopefuls.

Everyone gets an email notification. Look at the stats of those already accepted some are high some are not. It's just the way they release the emails. Don't worry. The majority will probably be tomorrow or over the weekend.

I hope so. Do you think any more will be sent out today/tonight?

Still waiting in Ohio.
