This might be a dumb question, but do they send decisions as emails or do you just have to keep checking the website?

I think they send out emails :)

Email. This is the part where I stress about gmail accounts having that "preview part of the message" thing next to the subject line. -_-

i know justanotherCCer!
I am also having mine sent to my gmail and its going to be really crazy that i might know what my decision is by just looking at that

You have to sign up for email notification. Go here if you haven't already:

Well Gmail said "Message from Harvard College Admissions..." or something to that effect when I got my deferral. So I don't think you'd find out the decision from just the preview. Of course I was trying to judge how big it was by how many kilobytes the e-mail was, HAHA. Lame I know.

^LOL now I'm wondering about the relative sizes of all three.

Hmm my accepted email was 11k.

The GMail preview line is "if you are having trouble seeing this message..." haha, I worried about it too... but seriously, just take the extra second to click... it'll be there.

11k? how much was the rejection email? More or less?

According to my friend accepted EA the email doesn't say congrats at all. Look for the word "delighted," instead.

It's the same for regular decision.
