So, a couple weeks ago, I signed up for the March SAT (or at least I thought I did) through collegeboard and I received the SAT Registration Confirmation email stating "Congratulations on completing your SAT registration!
Taking the SAT is an important step towards college success.

Your registration is complete. You will be receiving an
Admission Ticket separately.

You are registered for the:
SAT Test in March 2011."

and more stuff etc.

But then a couple days ago, I got an email from them called "last chance to register for the March SAT" and it said "

The March SAT® is fast approaching, and you missed the registration deadline. Relax, there's still time thanks to late registration.*

You've opened an account on collegeboard.com, and that tells us that you're ready to get serious about college and take the next step to get there"

So, now I am confused. Did I sign up or not? And what was the admission ticket that it was talking about in the first email? I didn't get another email with an "admission ticket"?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Need answers sooon!!

Scroll down to see if you have a completed registration for March 2011. If yes, you should see a “Print Admission Ticket” link in the top right corner. If you don’t find it, post a link to a screenshot and I’m sure a CC member will help you find it/let you know if your registration failed.

on my SAT page, even though i registered for the march SAT it gives me the message,

Register for the SAT:The SAT is the one test that shows colleges what you know and what you know you can do.

But under it says my test registrations and lists march 12th along with the link to print my admission ticket. If you have that i wouldn’t worry too much. You can always call up the college board

Alright, yes I do have the “Print your admission ticket” button (although not in top right) and it says my status is complete. So it looks like I am good. I wonder why I was sent that other email saying I hadn’t signed up? :/

Also, is it recommended to send the scores to colleges that I will apply to as this is the first real SAT that I am taking?

this happened to me too! I got the same email even though I registered for the March SAT. I’m pretty sure they just sent everyone that email. If you have the “print your admission ticket” button, you are probably fine.

As for the sending the scores to college email: I think you can always send your scores to colleges after you take the SAT and get your scores back (although it may cost extra money to send them). That’s what I’m doing because I want to know how I did before sending out my scores. I just took the ACT, and it was the same situation.

Already been stated, but yeah, I’m on the exact same boat you guys are. I got kinda worried myself. But I just re-printed my admission ticket just in case something happens
