If I have an email to send to the admin committee, do I send it to the undergrad email, or is there a way to find out who is my area application reader?

you can call Brown and ask one of the secretaries. I had to do that, and though they were reluctant to tell me at first, I eventually wheedled it out of them...:)

if a brown rep came to your school, it's most likely that person.

That is false. A representative of Brown is not the same thing as an admissions officer from Brown. In many instances, the officer will not be able to make it to a school that offers a "Brown Near You Night," in which case an alum or someone closely associated with Brown will be there in lieu of the officer.

sorry, i didn't mean "brown near you nights." i meant the admissions officer who comes to your school during a day and chats with you.

I see. Nonetheless, a Brown rep does not always mean a Brown admissions officer.

True, Dave, but the person who visited your school might be able to tell you who would be the officer who would read the app.
