i havent even gotten one comfirming that I paid or that theyve received the common app:S...all the other schools i applied to has sent one so just wondering...

<p>hmm, i applied ed, but i got an email saying they received my app that day, and another saying it was printed about 2 days later. maybe its different for rd, u should prob wait for admissiondaniel to tell u tho, theyre prob inundated with apps. hope everythings alright!</p>
<p>you don't get confirmation e-mails if you apply through the commonapp--only if you use JHU's online app----think about it both the supplement and the actual app are sent through the commonapp, jhu must download each of these manually, so they don't go directly through the JHU automated system which sends the person applying with JHU online app an automatic e-mail, i used the commonapp as well and for our apps they must download manually i guess from some data base or account of the commonapps ---and after doing this they don't send you an e-mail because i'm guessing it would take to long</p>

<p>Emails are only sent out automatically when someone applies using the JHU online application. All other applications (and JHU online applications too) are confirmed by a mailed postcard. Please understand that with the huge number of application materials received through the mail and online it can take upwards of five weeks for your application to be received, processed, entered into our database, filed, a postcard printed, and then mailed. </p>
<p>As has been said numerous times, don't worry -- we will confirm your application is processed and will notify you if things are missing.</p>

<p>if you used the JHU online app. and did not receive an email, then it may have been blocked by SPAM or you provided an incorrect email address. </p>
<p>if you applied common app. online then you will not receive a confirmation email.</p>
