Emailing admissions office

I realized I made a mistake on my early application, and I just sent an email to admissions@cornell.edu. Is this the email address I should be using for an issue like this? Also, for those of you who have contacted Cornell via email before - how long did it take for them to reply? We have only about a week before the decisions come out and I am anxious that they will not see the email in time.

Whats d mistake?
Which college did u apply to?

I listed the wrong class on the current courses section. I applied to CAS.

I don’t have previous experience, but have you tried calling? It seems to be faster. Regardless, decisions do come out in one week and having already received your first quarter transcript, I doubt that having a one class difference on your self-submitted common app will make a huge difference. So I wouldn’t stress too much about it. But I hope you work it out; best of luck! (:

Don’t be afraid to email them; they are very, very nice. The second time I emailed them, I though they’d be frustrated, so I signed it “Thank you for your patience” and they wrote back “Don’t hesitate to contact us.” They’ll like that you’re on top of your app enough - and care enough - to contact them.

Both times I emailed them, I heard back within 18 hours. Even though it is so close to the decision, it’s worth a shot. Good luck :)

I emailed them and they replied in about 14 hours. Thank God I don’t have to spend even more time worrying about this, haha.
