Emails from Harvard

Just curious, has anyone heard from Harvard since they submitted their application? Obviously they send out an email saying thanks for applying, but has anyone gotten anything else? I haven't heard a thing and the extended period of silence makes me wonder.

Nope. I’ve heard nothing.

You should’ve gotten the “Thank you for applying” and the “The Access Code (PIN) you requested” emails. Unless you’re one of those special likely kids, you don’t deserve another email from Harvard, sorry! If you are starving for one, you can go to your Application Status page and request a “test” email.

Test email? haha

hahah thats just desperate? …

I think generally there is very little correspondence with applicants between the application deadline and the notification. Remember, these people are busy reading 35,000 applications, so chances are they won’t contact you unless they note a problem, you have not turned something in, or they are sending a likely letter. So if you’ve completed your application, no news means… well… neutral news? =P

I have.
The Harvard lady who did my interview got her e-mail account hacked, and I received a spam message ;)

@andrewliu93:

I’m going to hazard a guess here: Is your name Andrew Liu? Were you born in 1993?

Several emails for my DD.

Well played Felix :)

That’s good news then. 3 days now!

Yes, Well done :)

Same goes for you? Felix… Felicis?

CoolRunning: did your daughter receive a likely letter?

I got a very pleasant email from a student recruiter:)

I received an email for an Asian group before I applied, but have not heard anything since. Maybe they realized that they did not want me . . .

woo! I got one from the Asian group as well haha

Misterg: No.

andrewliu93, I happen to know a certain Andrew Liu who was born in 1993. I wonder if you are the same person.

I got an e-mail from them today in response to a schedule change update I sent them in January. They apologized for delay and said they had printed out my e-mail and added it to my file for review. Is it a good sign that I’m apparently still under review with one day until decisions are released?
