I was going to apply through common app but I noticed that on the embark app, only one essay is required and there are no supplement essays for nyu.

Is that right? or do I still have to write the supplement essays on common app if im applying through embark?

if i'm right..wouldn't it be easier to use embark and write only one essay?

There ARE supplements for NYU if you apply via Embark. On the top-left-hand menu go to “Application Form,” then go to page 5, the personal statements page. They should be right there. You copy them onto the application form, not attach them like the main essay.

And they are the same four supplements. - day in NY, poem, etc. The only difference from the CommonApp is that you get to use 100 more characters… I think I read this here somewhere, not sure. But regardless, you should really follow the requirments of sticking to 9 lines because you’ll notice that any extra lines will be cut-off when you press “preview.” I’m assuming that’s what NYU would see.
