Embellishing on your app?

what if you say something on your app that isn't necessarily a lie, but it's more of an embellishment, it implies that you did something greater than you actually did.

ex. Say you mowed 2 lawns total during the summer as a job.

on your app, you say "Worked as a lawn-mower" or "Mowed lawns during the summer."

This implies that you did a lot, but it's not a lie either.

My guess is that mostly everyone does this.

yes but they wont accept you for mowing 2 more lawns then you did...so yea.

Obviously we both have too much time on our hands. You for writing this, and me for reading it.

it was an example, this is something bigger.

ex.
What actually happened: You helped a marine biologist for a week, but all you did was grab coffee, get tape etc. You learned NOTHING.

What you can say: Spent a week as an assistant to a marine biologist performing field research.

yea i guess..alhtough "performing field research" is a bit of a stretch dont you think...unless a bit of coffee spilled which reveald organisms living at the surface of the ocean that had never been discovered...maybe.
