Embry-Riddle Worldwide Campuses

I'm on the search for graduate schools, most likely in Aerospace Engineering (coming from a B.S. in Physics). I'm considering some of the Embry Riddle Worldwide campuses, particularly the Kanehoe campus in Hawaii. The cost is much cheaper compared to the main campuses and being in Hawaii sounds nice. Has anyone had any experience with any of the worldwide campuses? If so, would you recommend it? They say the degree will still say "Embry Riddle Aeronautical University" so it seems employers wouldn't doubt the credibility.

i’m an ERAU WW graduate. the degree does say WW on it despite what they told you. that being said i would definitely recommend the campus under a few circumstances:

you are in the military and your options are limited.

you plan to work in the aero field and you’re certain of it

i loved the school and am quite proud to have graduated from there but i did not choose the WW campus for my masters. i chose univ. of arkansas instead.

btw, the WW campus, and yours specifically, does not offer the aero engineering degree. main campus does and is top class for it, but WW is more for management degrees and aeronautics degrees.

[Kaneohe Campus, Kaneohe, Worldwide , Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University](http://worldwide.erau.edu/campuses-online/kaneohe.html)

Thanks for your response. I was possibly interested in the aeronautical science program with the concentration in space studies since that’s my main interest.
Did your campus have the typical college social atmosphere? One thing I’m afraid of is that this campus doesn’t have that feel, and since there isn’t much information available regarding student population and other similar matters, it would be difficult to tell until it’s too late.

no not at all. i’m active duty military and the school was actually on my base, inside the base education center. there are several schools represented there. there was no college feel but there wasn’t supposed to be either. it is more geared toward adult learners. there were a few erau flags and posters, but nothing like it was when i attended school before joining. i doubt yours will have much of a college feeling either, unless its on property dedicated to erau ww (doubtful). i didn’t miss the feel though, as that’s not what i was there for.
i suggest you reevaluate your needs against the goal of the aeronautical science degree. as it is here, that degree is geared more toward developing more proficient aircraft maintenance officers (for the usaf). i’d recommend looking elsewhere if that doesn’t sound like you. i wanted more from my master’s and went for operations management at a different school.
