I requested additional SAT and ACT scores last mid-December, but when I checked the Application status on the website, most colleges say that they haven't received the official scores yet.

And because of that, they say that my application is incomplete.

What will happen if they get the official scores after the deadlines?

Will my application be considered? Will there be any disadvantage?

Start moving. Check your profile on College Board. You have to dig around a bit but you should be able to log in and see when your scores were sent where. Do that first. Then contact, by email, each of the colleges that should have received your scores. If you have a person to contact, use them (such as an admissions officer assigned to your part of the alphabet).

Be polite – say “College Board shows that scores were sent on XXXXX but my application status says you haven’t received them yet. Do you know what might have caused this problem and is there anything I should be doing?”

Chances are that the college has not yet worked through all its received material – but you really do have to check College Board yourself and make SURE you know when material was sent.
Good luck.
