i am a college transferring student. i got the admission from the Sixth school of UCSD with a Structural Engineering major, which is my alternate major. can i get into UCSD with this major and then change it to a Mechanical Engineering major, which is my prior one. if it works, how long does the whole process take. i really need some help. i appreciate that.</p>

<p>You cannot change to impacted majors unfortunately. If it was possible, the process is probably very difficult.</p>
