EMERGENCY need help with internship interview tomorrow!!!

Hey guys, I'm currently a senior majoring in mechanical engineering and I just got a phone interview tomorrow 6:00PM for virtual communication and research internship with Smart Investor Inc. I really do not have any internship and need to take a summer class this summer that I decided to apply for whatever internship I could get to do it as part-time even if it has got nothing to do with my major. Maybe I set up the interview too fast, but I'm in such a panic right now. How should I prepare for this? I mean I dont know anything about this field >.<, I only applied to get internship experience.

Job Description:

-Pursing a college degree at a 4 year university. All majors are welcome
-Must have a computer with an internet connection and a cell phone
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Possess creativity, flexibility, variety, and growth potential.
- Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Self-motivated and excellent time management skills
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and social media applications

Responsibilities
- Make calls and build rapport with potential new clients about their home
-Record all necessary information from call into spreadsheet
- Research the property to determine best offering price for our investors
-Market Research to drive traffic to the company website

This position is a virtual position!
You can work and do other activities during the summer! We only require 10 Hours a week minimum

Please note this is an unpaid internship. However, this is a perfect fit for anyone seeking college credit for a university requirement or also anyone who wants real life experience!!

I’m not so sure this is legitimate… what kind of company is this? It sounds like you would be taking a job as a telemarketer at worst and a new customer sales rep at best. Is that what you want to be doing?

Beyond that, this “internship” looks like a job that should be held by a paid employee (it probably makes more sense as a commissioned job than an hourly/salaried job), not an unpaid intern. If I were you, I would do some serious research into this company. After 30 seconds, it looks like this company is incorporated in multiple states, all out of people’s homes; there are no reviews that I could find anywhere.

I’d stay away from it if I were you. People often prey upon desperate college students, getting them to do free work that does more to hinder their careers (by foregoing legitimate experience building) than help.
